Tuesday was the first day I was free and clear from job, since July 1st I've been working every night from 6 at night til 6 in the morning, other then a
little maintenance, and quick feeding I don't get a chance to really work on my snakes during this time at my job, so on the last night I started mapping
out what I was going to work on, my main concern was my Biak female Sapphire, checking my IHERP page, (Aaron no need to thank me for the plug) I checked the
page and Sapphire hadn't had a meal in 86 days, I was still tyring to get her to eat thawed. I did what my in need of sleep body would allow me Monday
morning, and again that afternoon, everything was cool, so Tuesday morning I looked forward to catching up on things, well Tuesday morning comes and I go to
the basement to some things done and as I'm doing my check on everybody I take a glance at Sapphire's cage and I see her on the bottom, and for a split
second my heart stopped, I rush over to her cage and my heart started beating again, I saw movement, and I saw something white under her, that's right
eggs, I can't tell you how many things went through my head I froze, I thought about the incubator I built, I'd been wondering if it would be ready for
breeding season. Then I remembered I was made to break it down by my fiancee for the cook out we had at our house last week, and then how did this happen, I
mean I knew how but when, then I remembered I had her in the same cage with Al Capone while I got their new cages ready, that was 3 or 4 days but I never
notice anything but them wrapped up together, no tails dropped. So as I scrambled to put the incubator I realized why she hasn't had a meal in 86 days, but
no ovulation, no color change, nothing. Well I got her off the eggs I counted 14, I'm not crazy about the color of the eggs but I'm going to give it a
shot, I have them at 86 degrees and the humidity at 93%. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
here's some pics:
