some of you know that i just graduated from fort hays state university. so i decided to show everyone some of the experiences that i had while at theis school. the pics will be in order of the herpetology class that i was in, then of the icthyology class that i was in, of the pacific norhwest ecology trip that i took last summer, of bird banding, and a range burning class that i took this semmster. flowed by misc pics.
first up are pics from my herpetology class. i was in the class and i was the lab ta as well. the pics are from random trips that we went on around kansas and of the 2 5 day trips all over oklahoma.
A. punctatus (red spotted toad) found at the potuntoc (sp?) ridge, nature conservacy land. this was a county record. the close report of this toad in
oklahoma was 2 counties to the west!

these pics are from the best class that anyone can take!!!!! it is pacific northwest ecology, we spent over 2 weeks in washington (mt st helens, and rainier),
oregon (coast, dunes, aquarium), nothern california (red wood forest and lake tohoe. best $400 bucks i ever spent!!!!!!
these are some of the few pics that i have from bird banding. the man in the glass is dr. farley, which has been the best professor, one of the best period.

the next class just kicked some a$$ cause we got to light a feild on fire! range burning was a fun class.
these are a few pics of the research that i am doing. going on 3 years now. i know were there is a snake den and i have the snakes p.i.t. tagged and i
collect and weight twice a year. i am trying to find growth weights. as far as i know, i was the only undergrade doing a grad level project, which is
exciting to me.
