Her Triangles have turn a little yellow instead of blue (they were white when she was a baby). She is going on two years old, weighs about 300 grams and has
not changed any in about 6-7 months.

Ok, I know I got the postenitis lately (SORRY) but I want some opinions on this one. I have a FB animal that was sold to me as a Jaya but I have watch her
change out and she seems to be a Wamena to me. So now I want your opinions. Jaya or Wamena?

The yellow triangles don't seem to be Jaya although everything else is. My Jaya lost his triangles and they all filled in with a bit lighter green. the
blue was barely visible. She's pretty, no matter what!

Thanks alot guys, I asked because I have never seen a Jaya with yellow triangles. Strangly enough I got another one, a male, that has a lot of speckling
(malistic look) and I swore they were wamenas and not jayas as they were said to be. Again thank you guys for the opinions/input.

Hey Kangley,
Are locality animals at all important to you anyway? |

I have a jaya thats questionable as well. He has some mite-phase though. Best thing to do is just go by what it was sold to you as or display it as
"unknown lineage". Jayapuras and Wamenas can be really hard to differentiate between. There's no way to tell and farms don't always advertise
their animals accurately. So who knows...
Having that said, I've seen several Jayas advertised as jayas, that looked just like yours. |
