Just wondering what thoughts about scenting with chick down were with regards to the following. I started feeding trials and upon first attempt I tried
unscented pinks and I was getting good tongue flicks and a descent strike response, but no wrapping. As opposed to working the babies over for any extended
period of time with unscented, I quickly scented with chick down and BANG. So for all others I have followed the same course of action and all (but one) strike
and begin eating within 30 seconds. My question is, is it bad practice to "train" them to go after chick scented pinks when I might be able to get
them to eat unscented pinks by just spending more time with each one?
Thanks
