I got 3 Exo terra cages that I need to move animals into, I saw a post with a retro top and heat panels, were those made or bought?

anyone willing to post a how to step by step. i have four at the moment and would like to put heat panels in at some point. ive considered cutting out the
cross supports and putting in some 1/4" acrylic in place. but was unsure if it would handle the weight of the heat panels, or if the heat would warp the
acrylic and not let the lid open....not that i really go in through the top anyway. i can get too good of a deal on these not to try and use them.
