I just had to peel a bad shed off of a Biak that just despises me. I had some harry moments before I could cleanly get hold of its head and start the
work. I'm not sure who it stressed out more, the chondro or me. I don't have anyone here to help me and sometimes it makes it rough for things like
this. No one will even hold a head while probing.
So, I'm wondering. Anyone have any good ways they use to grab an unwilling chondro. I rarely ever handle them, I think sometimes stress causes most husbandry problems. But when I need to, they are so much more agile than any of the boas, pythons, colubrids, etc... that I've had to handle and probe or whatever. Probing is definitely not a one man job, lol.
Seems like a no-brainer question considering I've kept snakes for a long time, so I do manage to hold them, just thinking maybe someone with more chondro experience might have a good tip or two.
