The weather here has been so nice, I could not resist taking the critters outside for some sun and photos.

First up is my Marcial Mendez Calico male. This is a 2006 animal from Marcial's Calico Male (Computer Chondro x Aquagirl) and his female from Buddy G's
famous Flecks x Daddypants clutch:
Next up is my Rico Walder 2007 critter from Rico's mite phase pairing:
I think most people have seen this guy updated in Ken's recent post. This is my only maroon holdback from my Cyclops x Merauke clutch of last year:
This is a farmed Wamena male that is really turning into a spectacular animal. This guy will soon be under the new ownership of Lucas C. :
Next up is a beefy Biak female. This awesome girl is soon headed over to Mark R. for a highly anticipated breeding project:
This is a lovely girl I picked up from Keith Thompson in a deal with Ken Diehl:
This is one of my Dave Prada females from his 2006 highland mite phase pairing. This animal will soon be headed to its new home with Jeff G. :
This is my yellow holdback from last year's Cyclops x Merauke pairing:
This is a Marcial Mendez animal from last year's Versace x Greta pairing. The scale by scale green coming in is really giving me high hopes for a beautiful
HY turnout:

Andrew,
Way to go man!! Great pics. Ya know, outside pictures are my favorite. No lighting (in my opinion) can outdo natural light. I have converted all my picture taking to outside and a "rigged" back drop I use. All of your animals look great; any news on the Biak and her shed? |

Wow, Andrew, very nice bunch you have there!
Is it me, or is there a major increase in mite phase animals over the past few years? Don't get me wrong, I love the mite phase, I just don't remember there being this many out there a few years ago. Again, good stuff Andrew - keep posting them!

Very nice collection. I can see why that 2007 Van Mierop x HW animal is one of your favorites. Very unique headpattern and cool colors. A lot of mite phases in the bunch.. you're killing me |

Ok Andrew....only when you back them up with such nice pictures can I trully see what a fine Colony of Chondros you have. Too many to name that I like, but
the Rico critter is sweet and ...I like the Cyclops x Merauke serpent. And I know you got some cuties baking! Your Focus is on target, I guess it is my
turn...as you say. But...but...hogs are cool, well...maybe not as nice as Chondros! (ha). Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much to everyone for your great comments. I always enjoy taking pics when the weather is so nice. We are having picture perfect weather here in
Austin lately, and it looks to continue.
So, everyone noticed............yes, I always loved the melanistic look and have focused a lot of my purchases and trades in that direction. I think there are more of these animals out there than a few years ago Ben, but probably a higher proportion in my collection because I have been seeking them out. I must say, I have been really lucky in the animals I have acquired. To every one of you I have gotten an animal from, they have all been great. Mark, yes, me too, I am very much looking forward to our breeding project for this coming season. Marcial.......yes, the calico animal is really looking nice. He is gaining weight nicely and the turquois green showing through really makes him unique in my collection. Thanks again for the great comments. Andrew |

glad he is back on feed. that blue is really crazy now, perhaps in 09 i can loan him to a friend of mine with some nice blues, so they can make nice chondro
babies! i really like the cyclops x merauke, that thing ought to be stunner (well, it actually already is!)
