hmmm good one..............Nightmare on Elm St. has to be my favorite
but over all I'm with Randy on this one too many to list much Kudos to Halloween, Jaws, Psycho and recently I was a big fan of house of 1000 Corpses and the original Saw

well when i was a kid, the first friday the 13th scared the hell outta me, also like amityville horror. the newer movies by rob zombie rock as well! great

Now are we talking "scary" horror, or can it be any sort of cult/humor/sci fi/B movie/indie/etc horror movie?
I have a list... #1 all time faves - The Alien quadrology. !*!!.Yes. The others... Black Sheep - Attack of the brain eating mutant zombie sheep!! Best. movie. ever. (New Zealand) Dead in Breakfast - Hilarious (US) Evil Dead/EvilDead 2/Army of Darkness - If you haven't seen these, go punish yourself (US) Night of the Living Dorks - 3 teenage kids accidentally turn themselves into living zombies (German) Undead - Aliens try to cure a zombie outbreak in a rural town (Australian) Freakout - 2 teenage friends try to turn a retarded, homosexual escaped mental patient into their pet serial killer (Welsh) Evil Aliens - Alien abductions and a news crew trying to capture it on film (Welsh) Dog Soldiers - One of the best werewolf movies EVAR. (Scottish/UK) Dead Alive - Peter Jackson's first movie, one of the best B horror/zombie movies ever (New Zealand) Wolf Creek - Classic slasher movie (Australian) 30 Days of Night - I'm sure all of you have seen stuff about this one already (US) And I'll stop there, dinner's ready, or else I could go on for another hour. lol

Dunlap:.............You better not be teasing me. I wait for your call like an ugly girl on prom night. Brie: I remember our talk in St. Louis about truely "sick" horror films. I thought of you the other day, as a friend of mine is working me through the "August Underground" series. Truely foul and not worth spending money on, but an interesting conversation piece. If anyone wants to watch something VERY disturbing, try "Masters of Horror: Imprint." So graphic that Showtime wouldn't show it on premium cable. That said you can rent it at Hollywood video. |

American Psycho (yuppy kills yuppies=win/win) Rosemary's Baby Seven (Much as Brad Pitt is a pretty boy and makes my wife swoon and "moist like snack-cake," he is a great actor) Henry: Portrait of a serial killer (And it is just as the tile suggests. Very, very disturbing to see in the theater during its limited release.) |

I chose my favorite horror movie based on the ones that gave me the most nightmares.
28 days later 28 weeks later However scariest movie I have ever seen was the tape I found at Holland's house titled "Self Discovery". *shudder* He is deceivingly flexible. j

I loved Halloween!! Freddy was awesome in his movies and who could leave out a great Bruce Campbell movie. Army of Darkness, if you want to call it a horror.
