I have been on Rico's page, looking at his available ETBs. I want one. Badly. How many of you here keep them? if you have photos, either adult or baby,
I'd love to see them. I'm trying to tell myself I don't *need* one, but I have not been very convincing

KIM, I`VE BEEN GOING BACK AND FORTH NOW FOR AGOUT 6 MONTHS NOW ...SPOKEN TO RICO VIA E-MAIL 2-3 TIMES . I SOLVED THE ISSUE BY PURCHASING 2 MORE CHONDROS. NOW
I HAVE NO MONEY FOR AN ETB . HOPE THIS HELPS

i have wanted basins for almost as long as i have had chondros. every time i say im going to purchase one however, i end up spending the cash on
chondros.....maybe one day...but i will say, their big heads with those huge teeth, they kinda scare me!

Kim, I had a pair of Basins when I first got into snakes the same time I got my first green trees. Just loved them, don't have any now but down the line
would like another pair. If you get any emeralds I would suggest get a basin, mine had very nice temperments. James

Hey Kim,
Maybe these pics will help you make a decision. These are the animals I picked up at Rico's last weekend. Northern Female - This girl is probably the "cleanest" Northern I've ever seen. Her markings stay white all the way up to the head (most have that sooty gray coloring), and she has a ton of white. 
These next two are from a Northern x Basin cross pairing. Tons of clean white all over. Female 
Male 
Finally, this guy is from a Cross x Cross pairing. I believe that Rico told me this might be the first time anyone has tried this. The entire litter is ridiculous and ranges from two animals that are close to 50% white, to one that is solid yellow with no white, to this guy who is cherry red. With this color & pattern I had to make sure Rico wasn't triying to slip me a chondro instead of an etb... he's very bizarre looking, and I cannot wait to see what his adult coloration will be like. 
As you can see, the darkside has started to suck me in......

I was in the same spot, going back and forth back and forth. I caved, got 2 from Rico about a month ago. I really like them, though I'm still paranoid. I'm convinced they are the hardest snake out there to take care of because I read too much. lol. I still yearn for more chondros, but I just thought that if I wanted any ETB's, the sooner the better before I fill up all my cage space with other things. And since they take a very long time to reach breeding size, I went for it now since I'm sure that's what my goal will be.

Yes, the two animals inthe middle are sibs. There is a lot of variation with the crosses, even within the same clutch.

Aaron.... live birth, 35 - 45 grams & they eat fuzzies on their own from day one! What could be better than that after a long season starting chondro neo's. Great pictures Marcial! Hey Kim, even this guy likes them! Seee.
