I hosted ChondroFest in 2007 and I've been planning the next event for 2008.
As above it is normally called ChondroFest but I am creating a completely new event in hopes of more participation from the Arboreal community!
This year was just a picnic basically with animals, cages and many other prizes given away at the event.
For 2008 I have permission from Reptile Gardens (Rapid City, SD) to basically have the run of the place.

Alright after a month (I swear) of trying to get a correct contract from the hotel it is finally done.
Event Dates: June 27-29
Friday: Ice Breaker
Saturday: Talks (?) <- is this something we would like to do?
Saturday Night: Banquet (?) <- same question
Sunday: Reptile Gardens
This is all still in the planning stages but the dates are locked in and the rooms reserved.
La Quinta in Rapid City, SD
The rooms are $93 a night and there are two different types of rooms. One room has two beds with a fridge and microwave the other type of room is a king size bed with a microwave and fridge.
The hotel has an attached indoor water park, arcade, bar and restaurant.
Use the room code: Annual Arboreal Gathering
If you want to have speakers please toss me an email or post them here... I've asked Will Leary and Dave Barker and as of right now they both cannot attend the event.
On a good note Rico Walder has agreed to be a speaker!
