I believe, if I am told correctly, that there are no Mojo x Cha Cha grandkids out there. In fact, there may be only 1 or 2 offspring left anywhere besides my Bleu Cheese. In any regard, I have been working this guy for a few years now and finally have a (semi) successful breeding with him. Its exciting, since the dam is Dreamy, an Andrew Kelly animal (Marduk the Dream male x Blue). The pairing is as killer as I have ever attempted.
Thirteen eggs were laid, and an additional seven slugs. Last year she laid seven slugs only. Of the 13, 2 passed along the way. Pipping started on Day 51. Got 6 animals out. 1 was completely undeveloped (strange, because the egg looked perfect), and 4 fully developed neos dead in the eggs. Not super happy with the hatch rate, but the half dozen I got are stunning. Entire clutch was red. This was expected as I believe Bleu Cheese is a dominant red male.
In any event, I am super excited about this clutch. Photos tell the rest of the story................
