II. Introduction to Chondro Enclosures
The following sections will cover husbandry topics related to enclosures. This will include selecting an appropriate enclosure, heat source, water source, ventilation, lighting, substrate, and perches. Some of the hands-on topics that will be discussed include establishing temperature gradients, nighttime temperature drops, and misting and humidity. As with most aspects of working with chondros, there are no set rules of “rights” and “wrongs.” By keeping an open mind and an open ear, your chondro husbandry practices are likely to change and develop.
