Ok.. its been a while since I got on the forum, but its time to clear a few things up, in regards to Patrick Holmes.
The animals were taken. His dad didn't sign anything about surrendering them. There was nothing unhealthy, dirty, etc. to cause the SPCA/'Animal Control' to get involved in the first place.
Only 2 HOURS after being taken, 4 of the atrox died from BEING LEFT OUTSIDE. "They didn't have enough room for all the animals/cages" and this was confirmed by the director of animal services of Dallas, whom was the only person not completely full of *+#!. He also confirmed that they originally got in about 70 snakes, but they were already gone to 911 Wildlife.
THEN 911 Wildlife says the animals are already at the Snake Farm..
Got in touch with Eric T. of the Snake Farm. He is a friend with Patrick, and after hearing about the situation from Bobby (Patrick's Brother) flew from Florida to get the 70+ snakes waiting for him. Ok so it looks like we are getting the snakes back! Wrong. Eric calls back to let us know that when he got to 911 Wildlife (a house in Dallas) there was only 10-12 snakes. 2 of which were adult chondros that looked dead. The others were rattlesnakes, and a mangrove. He also said there was an incubator/cooler with 2 babies in it.
911 Wildlife is no longer answering or returning any of my calls, or Bobbys.
How did 70 snakes and 16 babies turns into a dozen snakes and 2 babies?
Someone is lying to us. Or they killed them and won't admit it.
As of right now, the main concern is getting back any animals that are still a live, especially those in on loan.
Patrick specifically said Bobby and myself were able to take care of his animals, and all that led to was Bobby getting a visit from Game Warden and Police looking for Rattlesnakes and Black Mambas.
Yes, they thought his baby MANGROVE was a BLACK MAMBA.
Patrick is one of my best friends. I'm really not sure what is going on with this whole situation. We have been building up an amazing collection of animals the past 4 years, and now most of that is gone. I can't say enough how sorry I am to anyone who may also be affected by this, but I'm doing my best to get these animals back.
If you are a friend of Patrick's or have a breeding loan with him, feel free to get in touch with me. The chondros were our project, and that means I have to take care of this the best I can..

Everyone please keep Patrick in your thoughts and prayers.
And keep your eyes open for chondros being sold.
