So my Aru went in for surgery a little over 2 months ago, she had her injection treatments to avoid infection Baytril & inflammatory.. although most of her 30+ shots I held in, I somehow missed 2 and they turned black and now with her shed are open - like wounds. I haven't encountered this before and was wondering for some advice. She is an adult approx. 5 years. She is in pvc cages from pvccages.com and on paper towels.
I know with Retic u need to keep them dry, do I mist her lightly and only in the areas of no damage? what about Neosporin? should I use it? at this point I haven't done much but make sue they are clean and dry. She shed them off last night, so today's the first day.
