Hey folks,

I noticed that Ben Siegal was offering a trio of Waigeo locality chondros on Kingsnake.com. This appears to be an island in Papua, Indonesia? Is this a known locality for GTPs and are these animals already present and being bred in captivity?

Couldnt tell you if they are Waiego per se but i have been to Ben Siegal's store and i was impressed how clean they keep it. Nicest reptile-only retail store ive ever been to. I wouldnt put too much stock in where people say an animal comes from, i mean if you didnt personally collect it,how could you be 100% sure ?

I'm bumping this tread because there are wery little information about this locality. From what I've heard Waigeo is often mistaken for Kofiau and that Waigeo is a popular name for green Kofiaus. So there's alot to be cleared up... Anyone has more info on this?

Thanks for the map Greg but I've already made a google search:

Does anyone at least have a pic of chondro coming from Waigeo locality? Where there any yellow adult specimens comming from there? Is there any difference in fenotype between them and Salawati, Misool or green Kofiau?
