I too would like to see the Reptilian Cages site come back to life. I am partly responsible, I haven't had much going on lately that I can post. I do miss it though and hope that we can bring it to life again.

Wow, there are some talented people on this site. I love building things, especially snake caging.

Hi everyone
I am building two enclosures for two adults to display on the dinning/living room with bottom drawers. The size of the viv is 120cm x65 x60 I also use vinyl for the inside(fablon) and spray black the visible outside parts except the front. The front i'm using exterior wood stain.
Still needs lots of work to finish Tino |

Have there not been a few posts speculating that melamine is a bad deal health wise? There seems to be enough concern about it that should make melamine a
thing of the past for our expensive hobby. It is cheap but it scratches/deteriorates readily around moisture. Bigsnakes your bringing me down with your concern
about flexwatt. That's what I have on my current cages and was hoping to use it on my new ones! I really don't like the look of a big heat panel
looming over the snakes. Steve

sroper,
Flexwatt works great but from a safety perspective, it's an absolute train wreck. One really needs to understand the dynamics of electricity to in order to use it safely. It's always my last choice for a heat source. Bob Kelly Iherp page |
