Calling all MVFers...
CafePress has discontinued 2009 calendars so it's time to get a 2010 chondro calendar in the works. Christmas is only a few months away!
Here are the details...
I want to create a new 2010 chondro calendar and I'm inviting you to participate by submitting your best chondro photographs. Any member of the Morelia viridis forum is eligible to contribute a photograph for consideration. I will need 13 photos (one for the front cover and twelve months) to complete the calendar. Calendars will be available for anyone to purchase on the ChondroForums CafePress web site. All proceeds will go to help support the Morelia viridis forum.
The guidelines are as follows:
1. Entries must be photos taken by the Morelia viridis member making the submission. If it is not your chondro, even if you were the photographer, please make sure you have the snake owner's permission to post the picture.
2. Original photos must be a minimum resolution of 16 x 10 @ 150 ppi or 2400 x 1500 px (3.6 MP camera required) but recommended resolution of 16 x 10 @ 200 ppi or 3200 x 2000 px (6.4 MP).
3. .png format preferred but .jpg accepted
4. Each picture will have a border added to it and will include the photographers name and snake ID or business name. You don't have to worry about a border and text because I'll add that.
5. Photos submissions will close Oct. 31st.
All you need to do is post a reduced resolution photo on this thread along with your name and a contact email address. Winners will be contacted via email for their full sized photo. PLEASE read #2 above about resolution and make sure you have at least the minimum resolution photo before you post the photo here for consideration. Last year I had to turn down some great photos because they were not high enough resolution to print in a large format. Please email me if you have any questions.
