First let me say, I am not sure where my wife has put my camrea but I will get pictures up soon when I find it. Second, I have to give credit to Brandon
Osborne for all his help with this pairing. He was the one that convinced me to get the Aru female in Daytona last year and she proved out. She laid 15 good
eggs and they were due to hatch on July third and sure enough, three of them started to pip late that evening. So far I have 11 babies out and three more have
piped and should be out this evening. I cut the last egg and it looks to be a dead yellow baby insde but I am still crossing my fingers that something will
happen. I got a lot of red babies from this clutch and a few yellows as well and three of them even struck when I removed them from the egg box to get them set
up, I think that is a good sign...
This was an accomplishment for me as I am known as the ball guy to all my reaptile friends and hatching a ball egg is something I could normally do in my sleep
but I have found, they are not too much different and I look forward to a few more pairings this coming year.
