I have a couple of female pyromelanas that copulated a couple of weeks ago. For the life of me I cannot remember how long after copulation (for these types of
snakes) until egg laying. Is it 30 days? Longer? If anyone knows would they care to enlighten me? I'm taking off for a vacation shortly and would like to
know if the females will lay them before I leave, when I return or...while I'm gone!

Pyros... King snakes, right? Ive no first hand knowledge of that species specifically, but i did a pair of cal kings this year. After 1 1/2 months of
copulations, my female ovulated. Then it was 2 weeks to pre lay shed and another 3 weeks before she laid. You probably shouldnt miss her laying eggs if you
arent gone long and you leave fairly soon. You should probably give her a moist hide just in case, but i doubt youll miss anything.
If you arent talking about king snakes then my bad.
