We were 35 miles SSE of the epicenter at work with about 15 dogs in the shop at the time, it was a moderate quake at 5.8 at 7 miles deep in the earth. Gave a
real deep roll for just a few seconds and was so cool!! Enough to spill a stack of empty prescription bottles at the animal hospital, but nothing more than a
few cases of nerves for non-natives. LOL The dogs all seemed curious, mostly they look real quick to us for reassurance and then they're ok.
It does feel kind of scary for that first split second when you wonder "will this be a big one?" Mostly it's just fun, the element of surprise is usually good for a nice adrenaline rush!!! |

Yesssssss!!! I was in Longs Drugs (pharmacy) and some lady ran out with stuff before paying for it... Was hilarious... All in all it wasn't that bad. The
ground just shook for a good five seconds... Thanks for caring Julian (awwwww)

I was sitting at home watching tv and eating.... lasted about 4 seconds.... I sat there for a few moments waiting for more then moved over to where the cages
are and got ready to brace them incase there was something bigger on the way..

I was still asleep after a long night when it woke me up and when it was happening i kept telling myself one more shake and ill get up. And i think about
halfway through there was a big jump kinda and it knocked over a beta fish bowel/vase so i jumped up and it got a cup for the fishys. All the snakes didnt seem
to care though. But anyway like cathy said You always wonder if its gunna be the big one when it happens and luckly it wasnt =).
