my little girl will be 1 year old on july 23rd, do u think i could feed her a really small feeder mouse or would that be too big? I was looking today and the
smallest ones she looked like she could handle them but i dunno?

The best rule of thumb is to match the girth (thickness) of the prey item to the girth of the snake at the biggest point. Feeding prey items that are larger
than the snake is not a good idea, and prey items that are smaller are difficult for the snake to manage. Just match the size of mouse to your snake and
you'll be fine.
By the way, has it shed yet? Ben Evans

no it hasnt shed yet, i just wanted to make sure so after she shed i could feed. Should i wait until she sheds to feed?

Most chondros won't eat while in shed, so it might save you the trouble of either thawing one out to throw away or buying prematurely.

Really? Almost all mine eat while in shed. If you have another snake that's taking that size, you could try feeding your girl. If she doesn't feed,
give it to the other one.

i have some animals that eat in shed, and some that dont. as far as feeding them goes, i think it all depends on the animal. i have some i have to feed mouse
fuzzies too, and i have a couple that i can feed xs rats to.

Nearly all of my neos and yearlings eat while in shed. Doesn't seem to be an issue.
Glad she ate for you. Now, remember, give her a few weeks alone to get comfy. You don't want her to stop eating from too much activity. Ben Evans
