Well,
The good news is that she laid them before I left town for California. The bad news is I believe them all to be slugs. They are all very good feeling
eggs, soft like an egg should be. They all seem to be yellow, though, and I candled them without much success. I marked some with possiblilties, but I am
not holding my breath for any of them.
This really sucks because I have really been looking forward to getting some offspring from this particular animal. I set them up anyway. Might as well
since I had the incubator fired up and all. I'll try to candle them again next week and see if I was wrong on any of them.
If they were strong looking eggs, I was contemplating letting her maternally incubate them, but, of course, that didn't happen.
By the way, 31 eggs is pretty hefty even if they are all slugs.
