I would be inclined to carry on incubating it but move it away from the rest of the clutch as much as possible. Chances are if its wet it will turn bad and
then you'll get the smell, but why not give it an extra day or two before you get rid of it.

You can only take away if the egg not stick to another egg, otherwise you damage the others.
Also the female wont like it. If it was mine i would it be healthy eggs can handle it. Also it take a real long time before eggs stink, they are loaded with "live". OC |

I'd leave it alone.
Usually eggs that get wet at the same time of other eggs becoming wet suggest an environment that's too wet. Your eggs are not too wet.

I'd be curious to know the condition/fate of the baby that hatched from that egg. Was it deformed? Did it survive? etc.

I agree with Ron and Greg. I had an egg go totally bad and it had no effect on the surrounding eggs. I could not seperate it as they were all glued together.
Let it be so you don't disturb the mom and watch the rest hatch.

Hi David- I talked to Will last night to ask if I could use the photo and ask how that little one was doing. This clutch hatched last week. That baby is fat
and strong and less "runty" than a couple others that hatched from better looking eggs.
