In attendance was Ken Diehl from San Antonio, Sony Raju and Paul Redelfs from Dallas, Diana (Rapture) and her friend Dustin, from Houston, Shiloh Hawkesworth and his family drove all the way down from Kansas, Jordan Gentry hopped over from his studies in College Station, TX, and Matt Morris and myself from here in Austin. There was a lot of beer drinking - and Sony's Pina Coladas were great. Lots & lots of chondros were paraded in and out of the house. Some very strange occurrences as well. It was a real good time.
Thanks to all of you who drove in from so far away for this event!

and of course................some pics................
Just to make sure no one missed our house:
Sony, Paul, Ken, Matt, and Shiloh being kissed by my Cyclops male:
Ken and me with my new Kevin Kopf blue x blue girl:
Shiloh, Paul, Sony, me, and Matt, with my Wyatt male, that thinks it is a ball python:
Sony doing an inspection:
Shiloh said he is sure he saw a blue scale on its side:
Paul, Ken (in every background shot), and Matt:
Some of Ken's Houston Zoo x Bokondini critters:
Diana, a proud new owner:
Ken, having handled so many chondros, said that human babies are no different and deserve the same precautions (Shiloh's new baby, btw):
No, we did not lose a chondro - these knuckleheads were chasing an Anole, since Shiloh had never seen one before. He even had to get a broom to defend
himself. I was awe stricken:
And Matt had to show Shiloh how easy they were to train:
Relaxing time, poolside:
We also had to break out the newest addition, my Diamond male just acquired from Mike Zangari. Awesome critter. Notice Ken, once again, in every
background shot:
Jordan just couldn't put it down. I had to check to make sure it was still in its cage when he left:
And Ken, of course, had to try and sneak something "else" to the party! They ended up being door prizes!:
Ken (actually invited to this shot), Sony, and me:
We had more food than we could possibly eat in one sitting. Matt's homemade salsa was a huge hit:
Couldn't get away without a little probing:
Ken and Paul inspecting one of my favorite animals, an '06 Ken Diehl / Sony Raju production - Bokondini x Aru/Sorong. This animal has the best
temperment of any snake I have ever owned of any species:
Paul, Ken (one again, sneaking into the background), me, and Jordan:
me, Ken, Jordan, Shiloh, Diana, and Matt:
More cool snake poses:
Ken, almost could not wait till dinner:
And of course, no pool party would be complete without Sony's chondro tatoo. He put some salt on it for Jordan!!!:
Winding down...........
