I have been nursing along a yealing leopard tortise since daytona last year ,With the help of Michael Hance and some others I finally got her on track in the
last few weeks. The beautiful Vermont sun came over the mountains yesterday morning and I put her outside to bask.she was out there for no more than 2 1/2
hours and she cooked. They`re normal basking temps are from 100 -120 degrees, it was only 90 out. needless to say the wife and kids are devastated and I am
ridden with guilt. besides some hatchling gtps dieing out of the egg this is the first animal I`ve lost and it SUCKS!
