Fret not loyal MVF'ers. The clutch has hatched, and you can all stop having to put up with my incessant posts on this pair. Justin and I started this
project a little over a year ago, and I think I speak for both of us when I say that it is exciting to see little yeller heads.
Recap for those living in an artic cave:
Dam

Sire
'Justin doesn't name his animals'
Clutch began hatching 5/28. 11 eggs, 10 hatched. One poor little guy tied himself in a knot (literally) coming out of the egg and passed away.
88.5 incubation, started on vermiculite, switched to no-sub a week or so in.... I didn't pip any, they all came out on their own.
Thanks for looking! So far feeding trials have been encouraging (lots of bites and wraps) but not succesful.
Wish us luck.
(Are you happy now Justin? I know it took me a while to get pics up, and I may have deserved being called 'honkey'. However, comparing me to Chris Haight was just uncalled for).
