alrite my chondro experinced a prolapse on 4/28
i got the prolapse to stay in her on 5/1
i fed her a large mouse on 5/20
so now its been over 2 weeks, and she still hasn't pooped. how long does it normal take to pass a meal? i wanted to wait to feed her until after she passed
the first meal. she has passed a couple urine droppings. should i be worried? now i just wondering if mayb she absorbed all of it or mayb she needs to eat more
b4 shes passes, and of corse im wondering, mayb everything didn't line up right and she can't. what do u guys think?

I have females that only defecate once every 2 or 3 months. They start to look like stuffed sausages after a while. Lazy greens... Keep the meals small for a
while. If you really want her to poop, or see if she has any in her, you will probably need to palpatate her. Which may move things along also...

In gross terms, cup your hand in a "c" shape with your tumb on the spine and fingers in the belly and work your way down the animal/let the animal
move through. At the latter part of the body, you will be able to feel a hard mass of fecal matter if it is present. Personally, I would just give it some more
time.

I try to give them a soak and hold them. it forces them to move and it will help push the Crap out. is it really buldged by the vent?
But with a prolapse I don't know if either one of thoes are good? I have never had to deal with a prolapse. (thank God) mabey somone will agree or disagree, and teach us both. But thats what I do when they need to go and haven't.

I thought it has looked bigger by her vent for about a week now, i donno, i guess ill just fed her another large mouse and hope she passes it on her own. thx

personally, if i were you, i wouldnt feed it any more till it defecates, seeing as you are dealing with a prolapse in the not too distant past. usually after
prolapses, i try not to feed them for 3-4 weeks at the earliest, but thats just me.
