Here is some unsolicted praise to the guys at repti-racks. I am not sure if anyone on the forum uses repti-rack cages, but they are simply awesome. I just
received and assembled my cages this week. I got 2 24x24x24 HDPE arboreal cages all set up with 40w pro product heat panels w/ some fluorescent lighting and I
am very pleased. 1) they now make them out of HPDE, not PVC- for a little extra $. 2) They are probably the most aesthetically pleasing cages I have had and
3) They hold heat/humidity like no cage I have ever had. Kudos on a job well done! I anyone is looking for new enclosures, I highly recommend.

I do not have a digital camera. These pics were taken with my phone so they kinda suck. They are better if viewed in an email. Let me know if you want me
to send them to you that way. But here is my setup. You have the option of buying the cages fully loaded (heat panel, fluorescent lighting, two perches). I
just got the cages since I already had the heat panels and personally, I prefer real wood perches versus the PVC onces Repti-Racks provides. I am going to add
an additional perch (3-4 inches lower) in each cage, but I am still looking for the right branches. I just picked up two fluorescent lights from Menards. In
terms of buying versus building your own enclosure, it is totally up to you. If you are crafty and would enjoy building your own, go for it. It took about 4-5
weeks to get my cages upon ordering them. You could probably build your own on a weekend. Personally, I like my cages plastic (easy to clean, resistant to
the effects of humidity, etc.). I didn't feel like I could make my own cage out of plastic that would be this nice, so I just purchased them. Hope this
helps. Enjoy!

Those look great. Congrats.
I would definately emphasize the importance of screwing in the tracks for the sliding glass doors. The tracks on all of mine (also repti-racks) came loose causing the escape of one of my GTP's. Just be wary, and keep an eye on the adhesive to make sure it isnt giving any. What Kind of bedding are you using there? |

Will do. I have received that recommendation a few times now. As for my substrate, I use Zoo Med's Repti-Bark.
