Sony, German Shepards are the absolute coolest, cutest, and smartest (smarter than most humans) dogs on the planet. They are my absolute favoritist dog/animal

kim, i grew up with german shepherds, and have always loved them. it's a male, and have not decided on a name yet, probably either "pascha" or
"cain". can't wait to pick him up this weekend. not sure about showing, but am thinking about it. both parents were imported from germany in
late 02 and 03.

I think GS's are awesome....just not very fond of long haired breeds. I have two boxers from CH bloodlines (I bred mine for show at one point).

i would have to agree. i was raised with them also and they truly are the best dogs i have ever owned.
here is the one i have at the moment. hes a true miracle story about microchipping. i searched for this dog for years before i bought him, solid black and born on Halloween i couldnt pass it up. had him for 4 months and he was stolen out of my yard. for two years he was gone and i get a call from a shelter 150 miles away from me saying they have my dog. he was hit by a car and the bones in his front leg were never set so he is about half an inch shorter on the left side. almost had to go to court for him but the people that had him were advised by the city that the microchip was legal proof that he was mine. he was in such rough shape he looked brown when i got him. had to go through heartworm treatment (they never gave him any kind of preventative he was loaded with them), dips for mange, basically everything that wasnt done for two years that should have in about 2 weeks. he never fussed, never cried, never acted out. so he turns 6 this year and couldnt be happier living the indoor dog couch potato life chasing the ducks at the park every couple weekends. his only care now is the jack russell that tries to take his food.

all of those dogs yall posted were beautiful! cant wait to get this puppy! and after your story on microchipping, im definately going to have to get that on
his first vet visit. thanks for all the pics and well wishes!

Microchipping is the way to go. I always encouraged that when I bred boxers. The peace of mind and security are worth it IMO.
