I've heard these reffered to , what are they ? what do they look like? is it a locality? person?
history and pics would be cool, I've lurked for a bit but never heard of these |

Glaser animal's are a mix of biak and sorongs... A specific pairing done by a European breeder in the 90's yielded special results with this locality
combination, much like Marc Van Eijnsbergens Wamenax Biak pairings (he called them Wameniaks, although now most people call their wamenaXbiak pairings the same
thing). So yeah, the term was coined after the breeders name I think... They are usually green with some really intense blue markings along with some yellow...
I'm sure Jurgen has some pics lying around somewhere

I know I bought a couple with a group that came in to Mark Twigg. I haven't seen any of them as adults from that import, or if these are them, but that is
a very unique line.

I remember seeing that one before Jags were redily available. I think it is just a freak animal with an exaggerated baby pattern. Who knows for sure? Whatever
it is, it is very cool looking.

Those are great looking chondros but I think the one animal that Brandon is referring to is a hybrid. It looks very much like what you would hope to produce
from crossing a nice chondro to a Jag. Additionally, I would expect there to be some similar traits expressed from other members of the clutch.

Yasser from Spitfire produced jag carpondros this year and there really is no resemblence to the Glasser animal above. He posted pics on this forum and they
are typical of most carpondros, just a little more clean and bright. As I said, I think it is a freak pattern anomoly......or could have been an incubation
thing.

I thought the same thing as Shiloh when I first saw the pic of that 'one'. Everyone was swearing that it wasn't a hybrid so I didn't say
anything. But...I took that pic and put it next to a pic of a confirmed carpondro (got it from MVF but can't remember the thread). They look a hell of a
lot alike though. The colors are a bit different but the pattern is almost spot on...
