A little bird told me that it looks like a canary! Moreso in the second picture... But then again, it's a chondro so who knows haha

I'm with Sony on this, shortly before the major color shift the red baby pattern on the sorong and even jaya types can lighten up to this pretty lavendar
before going to blue. It won't usually last very long though so enjoy it while it lasts.
OTOH, this is one of the things that I have enjoyed on the adult canarys that have retained their yellow color is the pretty lavendar patterns. I vote for canary or sorong also, if you don't know the source I would say it's less likely that you've stumbled on to a canary than a sorong though. |

I had people swear for months that my Sorong was a canary.....she's definitely not a canary. I'd say yours is......a chondro!

one month can make a HUGE DIFF!! oh well I still like it. this has all happened in about 6 days! at first I thought it was shedding then it never did and

You have no data at all on that snake? I agree with Vairo, actually I have agreed for a long time but decided against saying something, it looks like a Jaya type to me. Did you get it from a local pet shop or private owner? I really like that snake, I would purchase that animal myself if that makes you feel any better, lol. |

no I am keeping it. but thanks for the offer. It was a "rescue" from some guy here in town that had no clue what he was doing. but doing much better
