This is my first of probbly many chondros. I got this lil guy/girl from Troy Frantz. Troy was great to work with and very caring. Called several times to
make sure it was ok because it was very hot. Well anyways this is a Jayapura and has a really nice full stripe. I am housing him in a Sterlite tub and hes
doing great. I will try to feed on Tuesday and we will see how that goes.

Nice looking chondro. Be careful with the handling though as rough handling can damage the spine. I adopt a total hands off policy for animals less than a year
old. I'm probably over-cautious but if its not big enough to be probed then its not big enough to be handled in my opinion.

Nice little Jaya.
I second the hands off policy untill he/she has reach 100+ grams or at least a year old. I have to say though that it is amazing that he/she allows you to hold and handle, for every chondro I recieve they come out of the delicup extremly pissed off and nail everything in site, and have a hate for me for at least 1-2 weeks. Than most of them calm down. Anryn Malcolm Life is a teacher that will test you.

First, nice looking snake, welcome.
Second, IMO, looking at the size of the hand and the cup and the snake, that is not an "itsy bitsy" hatchling from where I sit. Good luck with it. I have a soft spot for "tame" yellows. |

Yeah, something about Troy's Chondro's (or bushmasters )I guess. Mine was totally calm, would have allowed me to handle him...
And I second the notion about Troy.Incredibly patient, helpful, and took the time to chek up on me and stuff. Great guy

Thanks for all the kind comments. She is very docile. With the handling ive talked to everyone and the only time i hold her and it takes me 5 min to get her
off perch because im so so so so careful i dont even tap the tail i just wait. But anyways only when i clean her tub. I was very suprised she didnt lunge out
at me especially since the guy who deliverd it had it like half-way upside down (I yelled and ran at him haha). He/she is great. Shes almost 7 months old not
really small.

Wow, nice snake. That snakes looks like it's a nice size. I am a big fan of Troy also, super nice guy, excellent customer service. The snake I got from
Troy seems smaller, it might be a small male and is also really calm.
