I got bit, so early in the game, so early. I was cleaning tubs at sunset, my wife asked to hold on to the perch with the snake on it. By the time I got back to grabbing the perch his front half was resting on my wifes hand, back half still on the perch.

So picture this, guy coming from behind the snake throwing fingers under the first half of his body trying to place it back on the perch with no warning. Little 7 month old chondro letting me know what's up.

He's calm as hell 99%, maybe 95%, maybe 90% of the time.

At 7 months, probably less, just more of a shock. It's really not that bad unless they start chewing

Not horrible, I've felt worse from snakes of a comparable age. It's hard to explain the teeth do stick in you better. Thanks for posting I think it's funny when I'm stupid and get bit by different reptiles for the first time.

Worst bite ever was a 3 to 4' Nile Monitor, that was like getting bit by a dog.
Worst snake bite tie between a 10' Argentine Boa to the shoulder and an adult Honduran Milk that had to separated from my finger using a credit card.

yeah, i worked in pets stores while i was going through school. i have been bit by alot of things. chondro's is more of the shock...oh crap..kinda thing

my 4 year old (age is a guess) 4.5 foot gtp has got me a few times

honestly no pain at all, but yes quite a shock, bleed a hell of alot for 10 minutes then the wound clogs up and its over.

so as for "how did it feel", it just simply didin't at all, just wet from the blood. i imagin a 7 month old would even be milder.

Forum super duper Ultra Chondro!

None of the chondros have bitten me....well Surprise struck at me once. Brutus nailed my hubby while I was holding him though. Every single row of teeth showed on his wrist, top and bottom. Double row on the top actually. Hurt him....I thought it was funny

I got bit by my Jungle Carpet and let me tell you that the surprise made me jump more than the actual pain. It wasn't that bad! ok maybe it was!LOL!

My CB07 sorong took a bite of me last week. Came more as a surprise.. not that it hurt. I just stood there and looked at it. Sweet as it was, it didn't just stick to one bite - It let go, then bit again.

It must be almost a year old..
I still can't do anything but laugh at these little buggers for trying.
I've been bit by a 10ft burmese python - now that hurts!!!

My little year old Biak loves to bite...me that is! Usually no less than 6 times at a whack! He smacks so hard he leaves bruises, too! Hope he doesn't keep it up as an adult! Doesn't phase me much anymore, but I guess you just get used to it...gotta get that first bite over with! I work in a pet store and I usually tell folks it hurts worse to stub your toe!
