Hi everyone. I haven't posted much here, but I thought this thread was a good way to introduce myself. My primary interest is in chondros, but right now

Oh Snapz Scott!! Looks like you got a Geddy Lee Signature Fender Jazz Bass with a BadAss Bridge. I know a little sumtim sumtim about that...

I can't lie, I think the bass is ugly as hell, but I was deciding between a 1960's reissue jazz bass and the Geddy Lee and well, the Geddy Lee played unbelievably smooth, so I purchased it and hence "Smoothness" has become my new best friend.

John, I saw you had one from your earlier post. I was actually shopping for a compressor/sustainer pedal and didn't have my bass on me (at the time I was
playing a Music Man Bongo 4-banger HH), so I picked a bass at random from the wall. A guitarist friend of mine was with me. We played with the pedal on, then
off, on, then off. I said, "You hear that?" He said, "Hear what?" And I said, "Forget the pedal, this bass is bad a**!" I
run it through my Ampeg SVT-CL and the tone is sick.

John - Love the bass...particularily Fenders. But I couldn't help but notice the Zildjians in the foreground. Would they be "Avedis"? Drums and
guitar are my real passion...next to "Little Debra" christmas tree cakes with red sprikles, that come out during christmas time.

No I dont think we have. I'm actually right out where west philly meets delaware county, but I'm apartment shopping for a place up in mt. airy or manayunk (Somewhere closer to King of Prussia where I work cause gas is just ridiculous).

I'm a little late to this thread but I will go ahead with it. I'm 27 and live in Louisville, KY.
Here's me racing my good friend's son. Not the best of quality, but a fun pic.

I'm from Philadelphia, but now I live about 20 minutes outside of the city with my wife, two pitbulls 3.2 chondros, and 1.1 ball pythons, 2.3 breaded
dragons and a reef tank, and when it's warm this is the only way to get around the city, so if your ever driving around the city and you see a red blurr it
might be so say hi.

Mike,
Manayunk is a fun place to live (once your 21) Mt. Airy is cool, depending on if you live in West or East. I am down in the Fairmount/Art Museum area. I moved there to be closer to the Rocky statue (and where I work). Buddy, I think I have seen that red blur going through the city, I was probably flipping you off from my motorcycle as you went by. j

No way man!! My friend lives in the art museum area, I'm there all the time. Yea I like west mt. airy a lot, and I dont think I want to deal with Manayunk driving when its icy.

John I grew up in Mt. Airy, near West Oak Lane, I love the art museum area, and i can't get enough of Kelly Dr. it especially fun at around 2 in the
morning and no cars around, it's almost as good as a track, and next don,t flip me the bird I'll stop for chondro people.

I always go for late night walks ojn Kelly dr, and there are ALWAYS bikes going 300 miles an hour down there. I didnt know there Philly chondroheads. Anyone attending Hamburg in June?
