This is a link to another website that had a really cool post with pictures of chondros from a bunch of different localities as well as pictures of the guy chillin in W. Papua. The page with the pictures of him on Biak and the Arfak Mts. is PAGE 6.

Warning: The thread was locked because some guy (troll) named ONLY CHONDRO went bananas and then proceeded to make 4 dummy accounts also going bonkers on the Swede!! The pictures are great though.

Very cool pictures. I have seen this thread before, maybe a couple of months ago. Glad to see Ron outed him, cause I knew it was a fraud. I agree with OnSafari that the Biak is an awesome specimen.

Good Morning,

Only Chondro might be the best guy on the internet. The fact remains I thought the thread was interesting and Ron really attacked the guy. I had no idea it was proven the guy was a fraud and lying about his snakes or is a smuggler. I was just warning you all because the thread was not worth reading as it became an almost childish argument but the pictures were interesting.

I always like Ron - he will be the first to call someone out if he suspects bs.

His approach may sometimes come across as harsh, but he knows what he's talking about.

That biak rocks! i don't know ron nor the gentleman that started the thread, so can't make any comments in regard to that. 19 localities....hmmm....what happened to the good ole days when there were just: aru, jaya, biak, merauke, sarong, and mainland?

It does look suspecious that the last 3 ppl who chime in are posting their first and only post in that thread. Could look like Ron had made some extra accounts, but after seeing what he has written here and how eager he is, I believe that those picture are indeed "stolen".

19 locales are a lot and I'm sure there have been names that many - I can only find 11 or 12 in the thread though, so the name is a bit off.

Thanks guys for your support.
Thing is i hate when people try to lie to others.
Specially in this guy his case.
That never tought others would have been there, and most have never been..
If you look wel he made pics at a farm,there is a crate,and one animal has newspaper from transport on him.
I did ask him some questions in Indonesia,and than he told me he doesent speaks it. LOL.
Also i showed him a picture of Jayapura airport,witch he diddent (know) say where it was.
I been to Timika and there is no reptile zoo there,only a butterflies farm.
Also there are posters on the airport where you are warned not to have animals with you.
I called a friend of mine who live there, to make sure if it was still the same situation,witch it is.
Also he tried to make believe that you can go out in to the forest and catch as many gtp,s as you want.
Witch is strictly forbidden,Indonesia is making big effort in protecting forest and animals.
They have now special police who check everyone who comes out of the forest.
Also they make big effort on illegal logging.
The admin from that form diddent seem to care so i stopped it.
Also i diddent use any other accounts,and 19 loc,s dont excist.

Ron, you say that there doesn't excist 19 different locales. I look at new names with scepticism as well, but I have put up a list of different names I've seen from time to time:

Biak
Sorong

Aru

Wamena

Manokwari

Cyclops Mountain

Kofiau

Merauke

Jayapura

Serui

Lereh

Arfak

Numfor

Supiori

Wosi

Yapen

Waropen

Cape York

Karubaga

Bokondi

Nabire

Waigeo

Padaido Islands

Salawati

- a few of them are from you're own website.

Many of them might not be accepted as new locales. I'm sure we'll find new names on the classifieds many times in the future - to be honest the list can go on and on as long as a "new locale" is just named after the place it had been shipped from.

It depends when you called it a locale for some there most be more than 5 animals coming from there,others handle other criteria.
Some are called after cities where handlers live,but your right there are more.
To me island forms one can speak of locale, cause these are isolated places,i can give you some more Supiori and Numfor, islands closely to Biak colors are different.
So is Padaido.
And Mamberamo is more than 2000 km from Jayapura ,so i like to call this one also locale.
