I haven't sexed Cottonwood yet and I'm in no hurry. If male I'd be happy for breeding projects down the line. If female, well that would be nice
also. I'll just keep checking the sheds.
Cottonwood was an early changer. Here is a pic from 3 months ago.

Wow there is quite a bit of time differences in the changelings. Mine started very early and is still changing., been way to busy to get new pics. Would really
like to see some red changelings form this clutch. I talked to Greg and his holdbacks have a lot of black and a long way form being changed yet.
One thing is for sure I enjoyed my guy's changing the best out of any baby I had so far. Good stuff, Larry |

My Socrates x Pastella has been changing for several months now, and looks...well, different, every time I look. It was a red neo.
There was a interesting debate on whether the reds or yellows would turn out like the HY sire, and I'm thinking at this point that it may turn out that the yellows take the day. On the other hand, if you look at the second pic you can see the brightest green scales are starting to develop a yellow edge, so I'm still hoping. I'm not sure how it'll turn out color-wise, but it's sure a vigorous little thing...one of those snakes you know would thrive in the wild. In the cage:
