any one have any or had any rosy boa's? there is one in the june 08 reptiles magazine (page 22) its is a really neat coloration kinda blue/grey with red
stripes. usually i thought that they were white and kinda yellow/bron in color. what are you thoughts on this breed of snake?

Joe - Rosies rule. Collectively, they have some of the best temperaments ever. I used them to help ease people's fear when I managed a pet store some time
ago. Great starter snakes, and excellent for handling. Harder to come by any more...

I still have an 11 year old male that I keep around. They are great snakes and about as hardy as it gets. I like the fact that I can let people who aren't so sure about the idea of holding a snake handle it. If you are thinking about keeping rosies, go for it, they are great.
