I just recieved this girl from Andrew Aman (Andrewa1) and I had to get some pics taken. She was imported 3+ years ago as a yearling and is a biak type. Great snake and I'm glad to have her! Hopefully she'll add same great genes to my Biak Outcross projects.
Photos were taken with a Canon XTI and a Tamron macro lens. All were taken outside with a black back drop in the shade. Just for thought...these are the actual colors of the animals with little to no enhancement. Although some of the colors look brighter in person, IMO.
This is a male Merauke type I got from Troy Frantz a year or so ago. I'm going to pair him up with Maya (Biak above) during the 2008/2009 season. He's a great example of this type and has a considerable amount of white on the latter half of his body.
Next is a Jayapura type male that I also got from Troy Frantz and this was one of my first chondros. His blues are increadible in person...my camera just doesn't capture them. I like the misc black specks as well.
This guy/girl is from Greg Maxwell's Oz X Queen pairing of 07'. This was a OS HY X Biak Outcross pairing that has really thrown some nice potential for high yellows. The name says it all...I swear one day this snake is going to lay into some part of my body and I'll probably need an amputation afterwards.
The is my choco golden knee. I know there are a lot of you out there that keep other species. I never thought I'd like these things but they are addictive in a weird sort of way. I plan on picking a couple other species up later this year in Daytona.
And these are my prized boxers, LOL. They'll be the cause of my turning "grey" prematurely...I bred Champion bloodline boxers at one point. I bred "Roxy" to a "triple crown champion", and produced "Zoey". They are a lot of fun and I'm a "Boxer" guy through and through. I love this breed!!!! Mother and daughter...watching my wife cook, LOL. I usually get the same expression on my face when she cooks, LOL.
"Zoey"
Thanks for looking, :-)
