I have a 5 month old aru neonate. Incredibly healthy, active, alert, and hungry. Complete feeding, defecation, shed, and cleaning records since day 1. I got the snake from LLLreptile in california in late december. I still have the invoice for $340 plus shipping. Eats like a champion. As soon as the day- light timer shuts off, without fail, the snake climbs down to the lower perch, hangs upside down, and lures with the end of its tail. Always an immediate feeding response. Its in an exo-terra visionarium with locking front doors, a compact florescent fixture, a 50w night heat bulb in a lamp, digital temperature and humidity gauges with sensors inside the tank, automated misting system, two removable, non-rotating perches, a 40w heat pad under the enclosure, and timer for the day light. The enclosure has been completely self sustaining as far as conditions. I use paper towels as a substrate that have been changed at every bm. The enclosure has been emptied and completely sterilized every month.
