I just finished installing some 6500K flourescent lights in the snake room and thought I would take a few pics.

Kofiau baby from Gary Schiavino (yes, Gary Schiavino... I too am surprised that it is still alive... must be a testatment to my mad husbandry skillz).

Thanks to all! Hopefully I will have the camera out more now since with these new lights I have a ton more flexibility on when I can take pics... anytime! All of these pics were taken indoors at night! No more having to wait for a nice sunny day when I have nothing else to do but take pics, as those days don't come around very often anymore. No more dragging everything outside to a shady spot... I was able to photo this entire rack in place (all I did was pull out the tubs) in less than 15min!

Nancy,

Until this weekend, I only had crappy incandescent lighting in my snakeroom; this made taking pics indoors next to impossible if you wanted something decent to come out. The new lights are just regular florescent shop lights from Lowes with 6500K color temperature (daylight) bulbs.

Marcial, those are incredible animals. It is nice to see so many sibs to animals I have.

I cannot believe how much diversity there is in some of those siblings as well, especially in the Van Mierop clutch and the Calico x Big Flava clutch.
