Forum Ultra Chondro!

Been playing around with Antaresia for 20+ years, but it's still exciting getting eggs.
This girl is a 3-year old Granite Phase Spotted Python, (Recessive Trait) bred to a Granite Phase Male.
My 2nd clutch of the year, (Female Childreni dropped 9-slugs) and a very cool birthday present!

They can be testy when you take their eggs, so I had my wife do it.

Mike,

At 89 degrees, these guys will hatch out at approx 48-days.
50-days is usually a pretty good guideline.

These little suckers normally eat right out of the egg!

Gary I love antaresia and currently keep them all. I have stimsons,childrens,and spotted eggs cooking as I type. I finally broke down and added pygmies to the collection but have not bred them yet. My female Granite spotted is due to lay in a few weeks. How is the female childrens I sent you doing?

Nice Marcial, my students are taking a test right now and I just busted out laughing.

Gary, congrats on the eggs, I love Antaresia and keep a few myself. I am mostly attracted to their small, docile nature, much the same reason people are attracted to Aaron.

Ryan - Your Childreni are doing great! I waited on your female until next season, but your male sired a clutch of eggs for me. Unfortunately they were all slugs, but I'm sure it was due to the female I used being too young. Either way I'm going to pick up another male Childreni ...just in case!
Have any? Ideally not related to the pair I purchased from you?

Marcial - Jokes are jokes, but mocking my husbandry technique? That's just over the line. As I enter my 40's, I think I may be outgrowing the Marcials, Romanos, and LDs of the world. Now if you'll excuse me, something is tickling my butt; I think the eggs are hatching.

Ah, fertility ... is anything finer?! Well, this coming from a spayed female ... but hey, I can admire!!

Hope you get lots of nice little anthills or antipasto or antioccidents ... one of those ant things! - soon, so that you can get off of those eggs and tend to poor Shannon's fingerless hands!!!
