My Uncle just got back from a dive charter in the coral sea, This time of year the boat works a reef system call eastern fields which is 80 miles off the southern PNG coast. I had to share some of his pics from the trip. Its not often that the water is this this calm out in the middle of the ocean. Check out the fish swimming in the clouds

also put in a few others for fun, coral spawn, Rhinopias and a nice reef shot. enjoy

Hi

Sorry my uncle just flew out to australia for the week and those were the only shots i grabbed off his computer.

Julian: I do have the original files so i can upload hi res images to photobucket, which one did you want?

Frols: my uncle was using a Canon Ixus 800 with the standard canon housing. He has an Inon strobe (not sure which model) and just got himself a wide angle lens which fits onto the front of the housing. He shoots in full auto (underwater in scene mode) and the strobe set on full auto as well. I have to say he has a very low miss rate. just about every shot was spot on perfectly exposed.
