The video is cool up until the dude starts yanking the snakes out of the eggs. I doubt any of them suffered serious injury, but it was still uncalled for.

I was forced to buy live pinks from Prehistoric Pet last year for a finicky eater, but would never purchase anything from them by choice. When they were still in Huntington Beach in the nineties I swore them off. The cages were generally filthy, and commonly held emaciated, dehydrated, mite ridden, or dead specimens. Now they are in Fountain Valley (just down the road) and although they are in a much nicer location, and the animals are kept in slightly better conditions, I still would shy away. The last time I was in there I saw some young GTPs being sold as Eugene Bessette (sp?) captive bred. There were five in the over-sized display cage (apparently being heated with only a small lamp). All had terribly bad stuck sheds, and all looked dehydrated. A cage around the corner was full of some type of agamas that had mites. A few had perished and were still in the cage, dried. I tried to talk about it with the man I believe is the owner, whom brushed me off. I held my tounge, left and have not been back. The sad part is, I know he knows how to care for them; the guy breeds all kinds of reptiles. How do you tell someone how to fix something they already know how to fix?
