I wanted to get some advice from everyone. I currently have 1 female etb yearling in my bedroom (in a pvc cage 24x18x16) and I would eventually like to add to my collection with either another male etb or maybe some gtps eventually..depending on my situation. I'm in the Chicago land area and my basement temperature is around 66-68 in the summer but then winter it will drop to the low 60s. I wanted to know if just a radiant heat panel would work for cage heat. Once my etb grows out of her current enclosure I plan on purchasing an animal plastics cage the T5 36x24x24 and buying a pro products heat panel. But with such a cold basement temperature will the heat panel be able to get the warm side to 84 degrees? Or should I consider adding the belly heat option that animal plastics offers for additonal heat? Can't really fit more enclosure in my room so I need to make the basement work. Thoughts or suggestions please.
