My first Chondro hatch started!

Around 2am last night on day 50 I woke up and saw this...

then by 7am morning i saw this

most seem to be doing well, a few may not make it, overall pretty good first clutch results.

here is mom and dad during breeding...

my girlfriend pulling mom off the eggs...

special thanks to Sandro for giving me some great advice these last few weeks.

anyway, thanks to all, this forum is what made it possible. I feel great. Truly...my first attempt went perfectly. I couldnt have asked for a better trip. Next year I plan to have at least 2 or 3 with luck. Funny, 9 months ago I had no Chondros, now I have 22 (11-12 hatchlings). I'm not new to snakes, had over a 100 in the last 30 years. I can honestly say though that this species is the most interesting and fullfilling I have ever had in my home.

these two were the first two to come out, and they decided they liked each other...

5 of them dropped their cords, are out, and perched in their new cages. looking healthy, 3 more will move today, the last 2 may need a day to re-coup. i lost 2 full term in egg. Wish me luck on posting shed feeding. It doesnt matter how many stubborn snakes (try alterna if you want stubborn non scented mouse eaters), sometimes its the luck of your clutch. This being my first GTP clutch, i would love a challenge, as long as they eat eventually.
