After Sissy's disappointing clutch last week I was hoping for a good clutch from Matilda. So far so good! She had laid 9 eggs by the time I had to leave
this morning. Here's a quick pic:
I had to run into work for a few hours (Arg!) but I'll be back around lunchtime to see if she's completed laying them. Whoo hoo!!!!!!! |

Yeah, going to work this morning sucked! Thanks for all the kind words everyone. 13 good ones laid and they're all cooking along nicely in the incubator
now. I'll post some pics later. I can't recall who it was that recommended dental floss to separate eggs but that was a real life saver this time.
It worked like a charm! I don't think I'll get so nervous during egg separation from here on out now that I know that technique. Okay 50-ish days and
counting...
