this is the 3rd clutch hatching out,a biak to biak type pairing and all the babies are red. the female is a cbb danish zoo biak type who was red as a baby and
the male is a rltc biak type and baby colours un-known. this is a 1st for me and a little interesting.

I still don't have a single bit o' biak blood in my collection... That is something I shall have to remedy.
Congratulations on that clutch! Let's see the parents!

MegF42 wrote: good eye megf42,admitedly i am not the best egg cutter opener but have yet to lop a head off. this was not one of my better 'butcher' job but even i didn't feel good about it but it is fine.they will all be out and perched in 24-48 hours and wanting to kill me right away. the male
and the female, the weird thing about her is she is stunning but for some un-explained reason she never gets photo'd much. i will have to recify that.

I'd bet the male was a red baby by the diamonds. At what temp did you incubate and on what day did you manually pip?
Congrats, can't wait to see some baby pics.

Wow, what a clutch!!! Thats a lot of babies....lucky you! Now you get to start them feeding, LOL. Although with Biaks you shouldn't have much of a problem.

Just wondering, is it normal/typical for that much yolk to be left at that stage of development (i.e. pigment already in)?
