Wear gloves. I have done it before with a huge aggressive female ball. Never with a chondro but should work. Damon Salceies has a video on his website showing
him do it but she is not pissy.

The last girlie I had to hook ... I threw a towel over her, but she scampered out of it (repeatedly) and started coming up toward me hovering over her... I was
able to hook her and get her off the eggs, her anger and some persistance caused her to eventually let go of them. She was insanely aggressive.

God your such a wuss...
With my girl I thought I would try just reaching in and taking the eggs as they came and it worked great for the first egg, however when I looked back to grab number 2 I was about an inch from getting bit on the mouth... And all my wife could say was, wow, wow, wow, that would have made such a cool post... What a women... After that I just watted till she was done and simply took her off the eggs, no biting this time...

Just toss a towel flat over the top of her. Hold her head and neck through the towel. Unwind from tail.
