After assisting feeding this animal for
around 8 months, it has stopped running during feeding attempts and I have been able to avoid the assist feeding on the last 2 meals. I am hoping the many
hours I spent working with this animal will eventually lead to a happy ending... Rolo

Good News. Assist feeding is a huge pain in the ass, but it's all worth it in the end.

Thanks Guys! This is an animal from Jasmine. I hope you guys are right about the super blue, but regardless, the last 10 days or so have felt satisfying!

Cathy…the animal is yet to develop a feeding response. But, I think it has developed some confidence as the months have gone by. I think I still have a long way to go, but it's the best I've felt since I started working with it. Rolo

That's great news Rolo, looking good too.
Went through that myself for a couple of months. I think it was more stressful for me than the snake. |

This guy had his first strike, wrap, and swallow tonight. Just 16 days before his first birthday. I guess I was assisting feeding him longer than I thought.
It's a satisfying feeling.
