nothing really special in this pairing other than the fact that i had completely given up on it happening. they were put together....waited....he went off feed....she fed more. For over a month i cycled him back and forth from his to her cage. tried putting him in at different times of day/night misting before i put him in, misting after i put him in, nada. They never once copulated that i could see and he eventually lost interest in her. i took him apart for a few days and tried them back together again....he was still not interested, not even a casual sniff. i pulled him away one final time tried to feed him and he nails it. i figure no dice i will try them again at the end of the year. just as a fluke i happened to walk into their room last night and he was cruising at like 2AM. so for the hell of it i put him in. she went spastic and i thought she was going to get violent but settled down soon. i left the room and went to sleep and woke up to this site this morning. just when i had given up...so its completely off season, temps were normal, light cycle was exceptionally long yesterday (the time went out), and i never misted them yesterday....so who knows.
